HUD owned property listings currently on the market:

HUD homes can be a very good deal. When someone with a HUD insured mortgage can't meet the payments, the lender forecloses on the home. HUD then pays the lender what is owed. HUD takes ownership of the home, then sells it at market value as quickly as possible. You can read all about buying a HUD home on the HUD Website. Some buyers think they may not have a good chance at qualifying for a loan. In fact, you may be a good candidate for one of the federal mortgage programs.
